A few times I have almost fallen for the old trick of someone trying to get you to their site by pretending to be a woman, and seeming interested, I think the old adage of it looks too good to be true it probably isn’t equally applies to any random ad of a highly sexed female. There are rare and far between.

XXXblackbook alledgedly also have an affiliate program, by the name of loadedcash, I say alledgedly because on the face of it, just as it’s website with bogus members, it tries to entice affiliates with unheard of potential earnings, something like $1.50 per click, I don’t know of any company that pays those rates for ppc especially in the dating niche; it all sounds too good to be true until you read the small print; aka its’ terms and conditions, which it states in the traditional small print lingo, that you only get $1.50 per click IF ONE in TWO of your VISITORS converts to a paying membership else you don’t get paid a cent.

Any internet marketeer would realise the chances of one in two of your referrals signing up to a paid membership are between slim and none, not to mention it incorporates a method where it does not have to pay the affiliate for anything by “shaving their leads” i.e. removing the commissions from it’s database claiming the 1:2 ratio of visitors to paid conversion has not been met.

It seems the whole affiliate program as well as its’ dating sites are utter drivel that shouldn’t be touched with a barge pole, no doubt its’ staff visit various forums pretending to be affiliates getting a big fat check every month, but at least now you should know better.

This came from ripooffreport.com I think it is pretty relevant:

This company is a complete fraud. They troll Craig’s List and other valid Internet sites with computer generated listings of supposedly women looking for men. A response to one of the listings gets a referral to a profile claimed to be on this site which is promoted as free to register on.

It is obviously not free, and the people on it are in fact computer generated, illustrated with stolen or stock photos but with no actual profile information which, I guess would require a real person to make up and populate the phony database.

The new registrant can not actually contact any of these people without first putting a credit card up for grabs and agreeing to dollar-a-day billing rates. To encourage said sucker to expose the credit card, he (or possibly she) gets ‘flirts’ and listings from all these hot sexy people who are actually nothing more than computer bots.

How do I know? To test them I put up a phony listing with **obviously bogus** stats: I listed myself as supposedly being 75 years old, 4’6” tall, 350lbs, bald, drinking, smoking and drugging heavily, and my main fetish is supposedly sex with goats. My picture was a photo of my pet dog and the headline was ‘Are you that stupid?’

Despite this absurd listing, I got three or four supposed flirts and contacts a day from major hot-looking young babes and spammed with aggressive reminders that I can contact these ladies if I just hand over my credit card.

I knew better than to do that but how many do they rope in? Also if you are stupid enough to give them a card, the subscription will auto renew ‘until cancelled’ and I am sure they make that process a nightmare.

I see quite a lot of free dating websites, promising everything under the sun.

For someone like me I am a little curious just how many of these so called free dating sites are the genuine article? I certainly don’t want to join one and find out I am getting automated queries from alledged “women” who have never seen my profile but “are in love”, or someone asking me to send them some money inorder to release a multi million dollar trust locked up in a Swiss bank account.

So this blog is one man’s personal take on the world of online dating.
